「米Google、アンドロイド搭載した携帯を発表」(T-Mobile G1)

米Googleと米国携帯電話会社のT-Mobileの両社は9月23日、Googleが携帯電話向けに提供しているソフトウェア「アンドロイド」を搭載した携帯電話「T-Mobile G1」を発表した。心地よいカスタマー・エクスペリエンスを追究しているPrewireブログとしても、見逃せない情報だ。



同携帯電話を見た瞬間に、「われわれが想像していたよりも薄い」という印象受けた。もちろん、Googleが提供する検索、地図などのサービスが片手で操作できるという。

今後、アンドロイド向けのアプリケーション・マーケット(ShopSavvy, Ecorio, BreadCrumbz)が来月から提供される予定だ。価格は、2年間の音声データ契約のもとで179ドルから。詳細はプレスリリースよりアクセス可能。
